The SB-Series uses the same fine-bubble diffuser technology, stainless steel construction approach, and continuous-duty design philosophy as the larger DB-36, but in smaller configurations optimized for precise system sizing. The SB-36 is the next step up from the SB-12 and is ideal when a full-size diffuser would be oversized for the compressor, pond size, or airflow available.
Many small pond aeration systems use air stones, plastic diffusers, or standard membrane disc diffusers that can clog, harden, crack, or create unnecessary backpressure. The SB-36 uses industry-proven Aero-Tube®-based fine-bubble diffuser tubing to produce uniform micro-bubbles along its length while keeping airflow resistance low.

The tubing produces uniform micro-bubbles along the diffuser tubing, improving air-to-water contact area while minimizing backpressure and reducing the maintenance issues commonly associated with membrane-style diffusers.
