 General Shipping Policies

U.S. Solar Mounts make every effort to provide you with the best shipping prices. Many of the products available from U.S. Solar Mounts must be shipped LTL Freight. Any products that are over 150 lbs will be shipped LTL Freight.  Smaller/lighter products typically ship via UPS.

Once an order has shipped, a U.S. Solar Mounts Customer Service Representative will contact you with tracking information and an estimated delivery date.

In-stock items normally ship within 1-2 business days. Custom/Built-to-Order products will likely have a lead time.  Lead times for these products will be listed on the product page and confirmed after placing an order.

We may change our shipping method for any non-freight, small items at our discretion. If this is the case, your shipping priority remains the same. For example, if you purchase "2-Day FedEx", we may use the same delivery time of "2-Day" from UPS or others. Once your item is processed, prepared for shipment, or shipped, we will not cancel free of charge, and therefore you are responsible for all applicable shipping costs and a mandatory 20% restocking fee.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.

While we ship primarily within North America, we are able to ship world-wide.  Shipments outside of the U.S. are handled on a case-by-case basis.  We do not ship to PO boxes. If you have a PO box or an address that we are unable to ship to, we will contact you and try to arrange shipping to a local mail outlet or the closest LTL terminal available.

 

We will not, under any circumstances, accept orders from or ship to any of the following:

  • Any Communist or Communist-Controlled Country, State, Nation or Region.
  • Any Socialist or Socialist-Controlled Country, State, Nation or Region.
  • Any Country, Nation, Region or Location where Christians are persecuted or discriminated against.
  • Any Country, Nation, Region or Location where Christianity is deemed illegal or immoral.

We are fully aware that this policy may offend someone.  Further, we understand and support your right to be offended.    Please respect our right to not care if you are offended.

 

Receiving Shipments

Most ground shipments, and all freight shipments will require a signature from you or an authorized representative on your behalf to obtain goods from the carrier. It is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect your order before signing the receipt of delivery. We advise that you carefully inspect the packages for any damage. Please make a note of any damage on the delivery receipt. You may mark on the delivery receipt "concealed damage possible" if the delivery driver cannot or will not wait while you conduct your inspection. We urge you to contact us immediately if any freight damage is found.

Please be aware that many of the products sold through U.S. Solar Mounts can be quite large and heavy. Unloading equipment is very helpful for Solar Racking orders and some Solar Lake Aerators. Most orders can normally be unloaded by hand. This may take longer than the allotted time given by the delivery truck. If any limited access fees or overtime fees are incurred, these charges will be passed on to you.

Make sure to account for all the items you have purchased, contact us if the contents of your order differ from the order you placed. If a shipment is refused,  you will be responsible for restocking fees and return shipping costs.

Return Policy

We strive to provide our customers with the best possible products, support and customer service. 

If a product is received defective or incorrect, please contact us immediately and we will resolve the issue.

In the unlikely event that a product needs to be returned, the following conditions must be met:

  • Condition must be new, unopened & unused

  • All original packing materials, manuals, booklets and any other items must be included and in same condition.

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Merchandise missing any of these items cannot be returned.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom or Built-to-Order Products

  • Solar Racking

  • Any circuit boards, electronic devices, electrical components

  • Any product that has been installed, used, damaged or marked

For all returnable items, there is a 25% restocking fee.

Without exception, no products may be returned or exchanged without first obtaining a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) from US Solar Mounts.  The RMA Number needs to be clearly marked or indicated on the return shipping label.  Returns received without a clearly marked RMA will be refused.

Refund Policy

The processing time to issue a refund varies and is order-specific.   You will be notified by email once your return is processed. US Solar Mounts reserves the right to refuse any return, or refund.  All returns are inspected prior to any credit being issued.
