DB-36-B High-Efficiency Diffuser

After a strong cold front hit during summer-like temperatures a couple of weeks ago, we experienced a rapid turnover that caused a major fish kill in our 1/8 acre pond. The aeration system needed a revamp, so we decided to try something different. I went with this diffuser, vs. the round rubber membrane type we used to have, as I was never completely satisfied with how it moved the water on the surface. Not only does this unit make a lot of bubbles, it moves the top of the water much more vigorously than the previous unit did. We have a couple of small coves that didn't see much movement before, now we are seeing waves make it all the way to their shores. The stainless steel base is very sturdy, and much less cumbersome to maneuver than a plastic box full of gravel. The design of the diffuser ring makes a thick column of small bubbles, along with good surface agitation. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I ordered four of the DB-36 diffusers. The product is rock solid and they really move the water. They came well-packaged and without any damage. The customer service from Eric was outstanding. The diffusers are very well made. Will definitely be doing business with US Solar Mounts again.

My wife and I have a 2.5-Acre pond. We originally purchased an aerator package online that included diffusers with plastic bases that we had to fill with pea-gravel to sink them. After a few years, the plastic fittings failed and we needed replacements. We purchased several of these diffusers from US Solar and could not possibly be any happier. The company was great to deal with and talked with us before the purchase. The diffusers are really, really well-built. The main assembly is ALL STAINLESS STEEL and is actually welded together! They move a noticeably higher volume of water compared to the disc-type that we used to have. Our compressor seems to run easier as well. Great Product! Would highly recommend this company!

Ive installed a lot of diffusers for customers (and my own). This is hand-down, by far the best-built diffuser on the market today from any company. We have installed a few of these units so far and they work great at various depths and different air flow settings. No plastic parts like many of the others out there. We did have to change the barb fitting since we use a lot of 1/2 air hose.

Im really pleased with this diffuser. It is just as described: solidly built, self-righting and easily installed. It will last for a loooong time. Now, my koi have the proper aeration they need to combat algae and parasites!

The product has a robust design and build quality (stainless). Im limited to 6-FT depth for diffuser operation in my pond due to the spec limits of the air compressor Im using. The diffuser can be located in much deeper water. I bought two of the diffusers to increase the amount of dissolved oxygen added to the water due to significant muck build-up after about 35 years. Mr. Pipkin provided excellent support and was responsive to my questions regarding operation and installation.
