They use the same materials, construction methods, and fine-bubble diffuser technology as the DB-36, but in smaller configurations optimized for precise system sizing and cost-effective installations.
Fine-Bubble Diffuser Technology
SB-series diffusers use high-quality, industry-proven fine-bubble diffuser tubing based on Aero-Tube® technology rather than standard membrane disc diffusers. This tubing produces uniform micro-bubbles along its full length, improving oxygen transfer efficiency while reducing backpressure and minimizing the maintenance issues commonly associated with membrane-style diffusers.
Durable, American-Made Construction
All SB-series diffusers are manufactured in the USA and built with stainless steel hardware, stainless steel base components, and a weighted design that allows the diffuser to settle securely on the pond bottom. Materials and construction are selected for long-term durability in submerged, continuous-duty aeration applications.
System Compatibility & Sizing
SB-series diffusers are compatible with most pond aeration compressors when properly sized for airflow and depth. Each model is optimized for efficient operation at lower CFM rates, making them well suited for small ponds, shallow installations, or systems where airflow is limited. Maximum operating depth and material ratings are equivalent to the DB-36 diffuser.

A: The SB-series diffusers include the stainless steel diffuser base, fine-bubble diffuser tubing, stainless steel mounting hardware, an integrated check valve, and a 3/8″ hose barb. A 1/2″ hose barb is also included for flexible system integration. The diffuser can be adapted to larger hose by purchasing a 1/2" NPT Male fitting with a barb appropriate for your selected tubing.
